  1. Mobile apps have become the bread and butter for many digital marketers. This is mostly credited to the fact that a quality mobile app has the potential to promote and grow your business tremendously. It can open new channels of revenue, introduce you to new marketing strategies (e.g. location tracking), give you the opportunity to provide more modern social media campaigns and of course, enable you to focus more on user experience. However, as the famous Rocky Balboa (yes, I’m a fan) puts it, ‘it ain’t all sunshines and rainbows’. Developing a successful mobile app can be a demanding task that requires a lot of thought and understanding of what the customer needs. So what better way to explore what the customer needs than to ask them directly? Customer feedback makes that all too simple.

  2. Delivering strong customer experiences (CX) ties directly to your bottom line. According to a 2017 study by professional services company KPMG, customer experience leaders achieve higher revenue growth than customer experience laggards, with the top 25 CX leaders bringing in more than seven times that of CX laggards in one year alone.

  3. Customers are the most important cog in your business. Without them, you don’t have a business. But, despite all the tools we have today to create emotion-rich experiences for buyers, many marketers still struggle to understand their customers and what they really want. This just doesn’t cut it any more, particularly when consumers are actively seeking out connections with the brands they purchase from rather than one-off buying frenzies.

  4. Your newsletters don’t have to be a chore. Writing about what you do should be an enjoyable experience, and when it is, it will reflect in the content–which then leads to a better read for your users!

One thing that can be frustrating is getting that content out there

  6. Every business I know of wants to increase sales and make more money.

In today’s technical and online environment, the only way to be successful is to have a steady flow of traffic to your website.

Because Google is a major source of traffic, ranking high in the search results is critical.

  7. Online surveys are a quick and incredibly useful tool for gathering all sorts of user feedback. In next to no time you can whip something up using one of the many online survey tools out there (I particularly recommend SurveyGizmo) and start gathering feedback from real users.

  8. With customer experience top of mind with forward thinking organizations, it's no surprise that user experience designers are in demand. In fact, survey data from Adobe on demand for user exerpience designers in February 2017 revelaed that, "Eighty-seven percent of managers said hiring more UX designers is the top priority for their organization: higher than graphic designers (76%) and product managers (74%), and tied with software engineers for top spot." "The demand for UX designers is still there. Just one look at Indeed’s job posting for UX designers speaks volumes, "said Cisco Guzman, director of product management at Adobe XD.

  9. Managing a better user experience is critical to almost every business. After all, it is part of the way that a customer engages with your company and/or your brand. It's important to get it right so that the customer has a positive experience. Without a good experience, you can lose customers and that can hurt your bottom line in the long run.

  10. Having customers who are willing to give feedback about your product or service is a potential gold mine for your company and its growth. The important part is knowing when to listen to the customers and when and how to use their feedback to help your company become better. There are many different ways to accomplish this, and each one has a benefit. The input that you may need might depend on your company's current stage. It also could depend on the tools that you have to collect that information.
